What this calculator does—and doesn’t do
It subtracts the vehicle’s overall width and your target clear passage from the garage’s inside width. The result is an estimate of the remaining depth for side-wall storage.
Important: it assumes the vehicle could be positioned to make that gap available. It does not account for mirror clearance, door openings, shifting the car, garage tracks, uneven walls, fire safety, structural anchoring, or local codes. Physically test your layout before purchasing or mounting anything.
